Stupid exhaustion...

Stupid confidence problem when writing something new...

I have this great idea for a Dom/Billy story but I am having severe problems trying to write it, mostly because I've read so much by awesome writers. I am afeared to try it, I think. Either that or the story just needs a wee bit more time to incubate.

This hasn't happened in other fandoms before. I usually just start writing. I know I'm not a brilliant writer, but I think I am passably good at telling a story. Much of what I write is pretty staid, language-wise, as I'm not good with making it come alive... Oh well, I'll think on it a little while and it will be fine. It's just that the idea is so cool. If I can pull it off it will be really neat. Wibble wibble wibble...

And actually, read the whole things because it's kinda funny. I used to love Mad. I remember the first send up of the Bakshi cartoon. I might even have it around somewhere at my mom's house. Heh.
