(no subject)

I almost stole from the library yesterday. I went to one I usually don't go to - hadn't been to it in a couple of years. I walk in to wander around (I was waiting on a friend in the neighborhood) when I see the four hobbits in a stand up display thingie. They were all scale versions, and I thought, huh - I'm not too much taller. Then I thought, Huh, could I make it from here to my car lugging this without getting caught? I kinda stood there in a hobbit trance for a moment, and I'd done a bit of a double take along with small gasp of surprise, so the reference librarian right there had noticed me. I decided not to thieve it, since I think Snorri would draw the line at four hobbits hanging out in the living room.


Still I wants it, my precious. Oh, something really cute about it - someone had made little Oscars for them each to hold in their paper hands :P
