Hhy not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she/he wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

I cry when I write. A lot. In RP, in fic, sometimes in IM's, even. Not "boo hoo wah" kind of crying, but just silent "tearing up with a tear or sliding down the cheek with sniffles" kind of crying. I also tear up at commercials when I don't even have PMS to blame. Such an emotional little thing I am, and words move me.

So. How about you guys?

I'm a very cluttered person. Like, piles everywhere. I laugh when people who've never seen my apartment tell me how "together" I am.

The only time I find myself anal-retentive only when it comes to the order of my books and DVDs.

Books - First by size then by author

DVDs - By title then, if I have more than one film by the same director, listed by directors.

Whenever on a roadtrip, my family and I play a game called Ghost. You start out with fifty points, and for each cemetary you see, the first person to shout "Ghost!" wins another fifty points. If you call a "Ghost!" that is not actually a cemetary (or a roadside grave), you lose all your points, including the fifty you started with. We never actually mention this game. If we are in the car, it's assumed we're playing.

I cannot listen to "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot, "I love, I love" by Dar Williams, or "My Man" by the Eagles without tearing up horribly. They're in order of severity of the weepiness, from strongest to least.

And both my LJ-name and my AIM name come from my character from the MST of Over Sea, Under Stone and The Dark Is Rising that my friend Alana and I wrote.

I am incredibly anal about some random stuff and very careless of other things. I don't aways send in the phone bill on time (sorry, honey) but I alphabatize my spices and rotate my canned goods so that the fresh ones are at the back.

I read like five or six books at once, over months-long periods of time. AM like 1/4 of the way through Wizard & Glass because of that practice.
