Today? Was a much better day. It helped that my back wasn't killing me. It hurt so badly yesterday that that really contributed to my off mood. I rescheduled my massage for next weekend instead of in three weeks.

Seriously, I have just made a huge change in my working life, and I can't expect to immediately be used to everything. Besides that, I have an incredible husband who knows when I need coddling and when I need a loving kick in the patoot. I kinda got both today.

I will feel a lot less out of it when I have my log in name, and then I can have access to email. Yay! I will not feel lost and adrift!

Listening to the Nine Inch Nails. So good. Finished reading Prince Caspian. Also so good.

So... good!

*hugs*

(Also: if your NIN CD is the new one then one of my best friends is hideously jealous of you, even though she doesn't know you. Um. Thought you ought to know!)

How is it? I've been listening to the new Tori and the new Jorane. If the stars are aligned I will get Stars, The Arcade Fire and the Be Good Tanyas all on the same day this summer. But, yeesss, details on the new NIN.

Often the first day of a good new thing is really overwhelming and doesn't feel all that good, at least in my experience. It takes a little while to get your bearings and figure out what the expectations of you are in the strange new place.

I enjoy a nice cup of herbal tea at the office, usually one around 8:30am and another in the afternoon. :)

The handy proximity of your office to the south end of Denver also means it will be easy to meet up with you after work! :D

But sometimes it IS so tiring! I don't know why either. Sometimes I think it's because of the relative sameness of what happens throughout the day -- namely, the sitting at a desk part.

I find that I do best when I do some exercise in the morning before, because it wakes me up enough to start the day. :)
