We're watching CNN for the Mars Mission. It's always cool to see how things turn out. Hopefully all will go well on the landing. Oh! And it did - they just got the signal, which means it landed as hoped. Very cool. Ooh, and pictures will come soon, as well.

I finished reading Monstrous Regiment, the latest Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett today. It was quite good, but more serious than the other stories I've read so far. However, I haven't read many of the latest ones.

My laundry is staring at me, wishing to be folded, but I am giving into laziness and not doing it tonight. I sproinged my shoulder somehow and it is hurting a lot today. It was enough to lug down the hamper from the third floor to the basement. Folding and putting away will have to wait.

Instead I'm looking at wedding bands. Snorri's claddagh rign finally snapped, so we are in the market for actual matching bands. It's about bloody time :P We're such bohemians. So I came across this, and while it's beautiful, and I love the idea behind it, it's just so cheesy. One love to rule them all... snicker!

Stupid Gamecube... I love the Hobbit game, but I suck at video games - and always have - and I get stuck on each little section for hours. And yet I find myself itching to play it again right now... Must... resist...

Those rings tread the fine line between beautiful and creepy.

I highly recommend "Night Watch". It's got time travel in it. But if, for some reason, you do not want to fall in love with Vimes, I'd avoid it. ;)

Yeah, I saw those at the renfaire last summer, and though they're sexy, they're sort of disturbing at the same time. Because they're like, rings of power to control your love. And when you start thinking like that, it freaks me out.

Hee! One love to rule them all. I prefer the normal LOTR rings - one of my friends gave one to her fiance recently as their wedding ring.
