Ahh, I did not know you had read that much. Charlie: As a Cappy Moon who loves classic Goats like William Adama, I did not even get that others (esp younger others) would not like Charlie until they started a thread about how the (exceptional, perfect, awesome) Billy Burke movie!Charlie brought them around from their hate for book!Charlie. I always got him. Carlisle/Edward: It's the most common m/m slash and, of all the types of slash, the only one that makes any damn canonical sense, meaning I actually see true seeds there for people to spin off. Bella: She is not obsessed with getting married. She is obsessed with NOT getting married, which I think needs as much head-shrinking (even though the character is pretty aware as to where her antipathy and ambivalence spring from). And never forget "Forever Dawn," the original sequel to "Twilight" that publishers nixed because neophyte SMeyer wrote what pleased herself, not knowing that she was supposed to be in an industry YA box with a bunch of rules and conventions. Originally, Bella did go to school and stay human before all those commitments.
