I loved this movie. It was a well-done, exciting, detail-oriented, well-plotted movie. It included every detail I had hoped for and MORE in the tying up of loose ends.

The ending blew me away (and was PERFECT, avoiding cliche and happy ending traps). The characters were wonderfully in character, and Jack... oh captain, my captain.

It's late, and my first post on subject got et, but here is a quick list of favorite bits.

Best wedding ever. I mean, ever.

Oh, Norrington... but he died well. With honor and a kiss goodbye.

Oh, Swann... *SNIFF* "I'll give your regards to your mother then, shall I?" WOE.

Elizabeth - I am pleased how she's turned out.

Captain Teague... oh yes. Yes, yes, yes.

Hector Barbossa rocks my world. The maniacal glee of sailing through peril, the rivalry and one-upmanship with Jack. He's so much more wonderful here than as the villain in the first one. And I am mighty fine of the first go round, mind.

The scene with Davy Jones and Tia Dalma? Oh... shivery. Lovely and shivery.

In summation: EEEEEEEEE! with a side of SQUEEEEEE!

Everything I hoped for in a movie and more.
