You've Got a Friend in Me is a little the worse for wear now, but Tom and Door glare at anyone who even mentions replacing it, and so it remains, the bottom few inches now faded and grubby from little hands.

"Uncle Ber'd!"

Two small children, dark-haired and wild-eyed, tumble through the painting and dash towards the bar.

Bernard finishes making Nymphadora's tea before he turns to the boys. The elder is staring up at him seriously, while the younger has already gotten distracted by the rows of bottles below the counter, which he is carefully Opening one by one, grinning proudly.

"Arch, stop that," Bernard sighs, though it never did any good with Portico, and he doesn't really expect it to do any now.

"Uncle Bernard, Julia keeps making our shoes real big and Daddy fixes them but he and Mummy keep laughing and they think it's cute," Portico says in a rush.

"C'n we borrow some dynonite to blow her shoes up?" Arch has apparently decided that the matter at hand is more important than demonstrating his Opening prowess.

"Showing magical ability already, is she?" Tonks asks, peering over the bar. Arch beams and toddles around the bar to wrap himself around her knees, but Portico stands firm.

"Hullo, Aunt Dora," he says, but turns back to Bernard immediately. "so, you see, Uncle Ber'd, it's very important."

"You know dynomite is dangerous," he begins - but then he remembers the time when Tom gave Sunny advice, and he grins slowly. "But I'm sure we can think of something else just as satisfying."

"Bernard," Nymphadora says warningly, but her eyes are twinkling, and Portico is already doing a victory dance.
