Um... so why didn't anyone tell me that on-line RPG's are kinda sorta like crack? Take a look over at [livejournal.com profile] milliways_bar. There is quite an eclectic crowd milling about.

Finished The Truth by Terry Pratchett today thus initiating my official Terry Pratchett reading binge. I loved this book! I really loved the character of William de Worde. I hope he shows up in some later books. You know, Pratchett has such a knack with creating interesting, likable characters. I love his characters so much. They are people you'd like to meet. No, I am not going to look for fanfic. Really.

Mmm, Snorri is making me a mocha milkshake. Yummmmmmy.

William shows up in "Monstrous Regiment" but he's not the focus in that one.

Granny Weatherwax and Sam Vimes tie for my favorite characters.

Carrot was my first love -- the first book I read was "Guards, Guards" and I went from there. But as I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate Vimes. (And he's one of the Sam's that gave me my nickname. Sam Gamgee and Sam Beckett are the other two...)

Have you read "Hat Full of Sky" yet?
